On Thursday I talked to Zack's teacher about potty training. She said they will ask them at diaper change time if they want to potty, but they don't force it if they don't want to go. She said they would start that day. Thursday he sat on the potty 3 times, but never went. Friday I picked him up and he saw me coming through the window. He ran to his cubby and met me at the door. He yelled, "Mommy, I pottied!" and showed me his 3 stickers. They get to pick out a sticker every time they go potty. Zack chose glittery pink heart stickers, which I thought was really cute. I'm not sure what his other options were, but I assume there was something more masculine. He held his paper with the stickers all the way home and was very careful not to bend it. He couldn't wait to take it to the lake and show "Fampa Wonnie" (Grandpa Ronnie). He went 3 times for me on Saturday and twice today, Sunday. Now I wonder how long it will take before he learns to hold it and tell us when he needs to go.
Speaking of my baby growing up... This makes me really sad. I started noticing last week that my two year old son is now calling me "Mom" instead of "Mommy." I remember being sad when it went from mama to mommy, but this seems so much worse. I guess he is taking his role as the big brother seriously.
We spent the weekend at the lake and it was perfect weather. Saturday morning Zack and I walked down to the beach and no one else was around, so I grabbed my camera and took some pictures before it got busy. I came close to dropping the camera in the water a couple times. I needed someone to help me keep Zack from drowning while I took cute pictures. He has no fear of the water and wanted to go out by the floats in the deeper water. I finally put down the camera and put on his life jacket.

I bet Zack will really enjoy his photobook when it arrives - and it's free!!
Zack is getting to be such a big boy! Even just looking at his pictures, he looks bigger from your last couple of posts! Congratulations on the potty thing - I have yet to try to sit Cameron on the potty - I am soooo dreading it!
Hope you're feeling good with your pregnancy!
That is great about the potty training! I wish Teagun's daycare would push it a little more, but they told me they need to be doing it at home pretty well before they will push it there. :(
I think I need to switch to photobooks too! Let me know how you like the Shutterfly ones. I did a first year scrapbook for Teagun and only made it to 8 months and really have no desire to finish it now! I think I should go all digital too!
Oh, and the "mom" thing...doesn't that just kill you?? Teagun started doing that too and I was like, "Hey, I'm mommy!!!" They grow up too fast!
Cute pictures! Devin loves the water too!
Yay Zack for the potty training! That is awesome! Devin has gone a couple times now but I think he sees it as an addition to diapers not a replacement :-)
Can't wait to hear how you like the photobooks. I had a coupon like that, worked so hard to finish it and then forgot to order the darn thing until the day after it expired. I went to order it and my total was over $100. I was so upset.
