Lakewood Olympics - Part One

We are back from our 4th of July vacation and have to work the rest of the week. We spent the 4th at the lake. Where we held the 3rd Lakewood Olympics. We do this every four years in conjunction with the summer Olympics. Each row is a different country and we compete in various events for metals. This year we had four countries, Bahamas, Sweden, China and Columbia. Our row was the Bahamas. This is always a weekend that everyone looks forward to and talks about for years.

Here are some pictures from the opening ceremonies. Each country paraded through the park. These pictures are team Bahamas waiting for the other countries to parade.

We gave out Bahama Mama drinks to all parade goers courtesy of Conchy Joe's Saloon.

Sarah, aka Bear, with her ever present beer bong.

She had lots of takers. I was not one of them.

Lee entertaining the kids while reggae dancing.

Many more pictures to come!
