One More Peek

I am finishing up Ben's pictures and had to post just one more.

I spent the evening taking pictures of my cousin Ben. He is getting ready to return to college for his sophomore year and his mom wanted pictures of him before he left. He has always been active in sports and currently plays football at Dayton University. In high school his schedule was so busy with sports and activities that he never had time to get senior pictures taken. We took pictures tonight to help ease some of the mom guilt.

I must give Ben some credit for my passion with photography. I have watched him grow through my camera. I started taking pictures of him with my 35mm film camera when he was a newborn, used many rolls of film chasing him as a toddler and still love getting action shots of him on the beach volleyball court.

Thanks for letting me hang out with you tonight Ben. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and that I've eased some of the mom guilt. Good luck this football season. I look forward to getting some action shots on the field this fall.

10 Days Old

Our friends from the lake just had a baby boy, Briar. He is such a good baby and so adorable. I never heard a peep out of him all weekend. Not even during our photo session, where I repeatedly interrupted his nap.

Addison is quickly approaching 2 years old and Briar did not help my baby fever at all. I even caught Ryan snuggling him and was told he sniffed his hair, hmm.

Congratulations Billy, Lindsey and big sister Madi. He is delicious!

Here are a couple of my favorites.

Christmas in July

A couple weeks ago we had Christmas in July at the lake. The kids had a great time playing the games, making crafts and seeing Santa. Well, I can't include Addison in the part about Santa.

The first game, the kids had to put vaseline on their face and stick as many cotton balls as they could to their face. I didn't think Addison would actually participate in the game, but she loved and and kept going back for more vaseline and cotton balls.

Santa visited with the kids. I think the picture pretty much explains how it went.

The gift bag quickly made her forget about scary Santa.

Wyoming - Part 2

We spent our final day in Wyoming in the mountains. Zack was on a bear hunt and wore his binoculars. Unfortunately or fortunately we didn't run into any bears. The mountains were so beautiful. It really makes us wonder about our decision to make Indiana our home.
