Yummy Stuff

Here is part 2 of Isabella's sneak peak. She had ice cream for the first time and absolutely loved it. She ate the whole cone and cried for more. Thanks again Randy and Michelle for letting me spend the afternoon with you. I had so much fun playing with Bella.

I'm so proud of Zack. He took his first step towards water skiing today and did awesome. I grew up skiing and have wonderful family memories of our time in the boat and skiing. I can't wait to create those memories with my own kids.

Grandpa Ronnie asked him this morning if he wanted to go on the ski board. Zack said he did, but as the time got closer he decided he wasn't ready. He said he isn't allowed to swim in the deep water. I finally convinced him that it would be okay to swim in the deep water and that I'd get in with him. We parked the boat and he practiced riding as daddy ran and pulled him along the shallow water. He decided that grandpa could pull him behind the boat if he agreed to go slow.

off he goes. I wore a life jacket just in case I had to swim after him, because the water current was strong. He did great though and he didn't need much help.

He fell once while grandpa turned the boat. He started to get scared and then grandpa and daddy talked to him and he relaxed and waited for the boat to pick him up. He gave dad a big thumbs up once back in the boat and even wanted to go again. They brought him back to me, he went again, made the turn and dropped off next to me.

I'm so proud of you Zackers!!

Isabella - 14 Months

On Sunday I was able to hang out with Isabella and her parents at the park. She is the sweetest little girl and her toothy smile just melts my heart. Thanks for letting me spend the afternoon with you. We need to get together more often. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Going to the Chapel

On Friday night both Zack and Addie had the honor of being in the wedding for their nanny from last summer. Both her and the groom graduated from Purdue this spring and planned a wedding in 36 days before they move out of state for his new job. The wedding was beautiful and there is no way anyone else could put it together in such a short amount of time.

Zack and Addie with the bride, Robin before the ceremony. Addie just loved Robin's dress and couldn't wait to get held by princess Robin.

day dream believer. Addie before the ceremony,

Zack watched Addie's petals the entire walk down the aisle, as you'll see in the following pictures, he was slightly obsessed with her basket and the petals. They both did great at the wedding and walked down the aisle with no problems and didn't have any major scenes during the reception, which I was worried about the most.

The kids were ready to get outside and let off some steam. They had a lot of fun following each other while walking on the curb. Zack carried Addie's basket the entire time until we left for the reception.

The guests threw rose petals at the bride and groom and Zack was determined to pick up all of them and put them in Addie's basket. We told him that he didn't have to pick them up, but he responded, I know, I want to.
