In June the town of Goodland celebrated its sesquicentennial, 150th Anniversary. My mom grew up in Goodland and we still have a lot of family in the area. The family decided to decorate an Irish float to show our heritage and celebrate the town where the large family began. Erin go Bragh!
Pre-Parade Activity

Zack and Addie and their cousins were ready to throw the candy

My parents and the siblings rode on the float while we walked behind.

Start of the Parade

The founder of Goodland

Zack was very serious about throwing the candy. He would only throw one piece at a time and after the parade was over he still had a bag full of bubble gum. I guess he thought the parade route would be much longer.

Enjoying the family after the parade

My family

The Welsh Family. I believe there were 70 family members that participated in the parade.
